The Aston Voter’s Edition Element Microphone was curated by the Aston Voter’s Team, basing the design on the votes and decisions of Aston enthusiasts. The unique design embodies elements from multiple microphone types. The microphone is not the conventional condenser, ribbon or tube design; it utilises a unique and specially-developed capsule to deliver the distinctive sound.

The custom “active moving coil” technology provides an ultra-speedy transient response as well as an extended low-end response. The resulting sound is warm and detailed with immersive sound staging.

The Viewer’s Edition Microphone is the culmination of years of research and crowdsourced decisions for the unique design. Project Element was conceived from the opinions of over 2000 musicians, engineers and music producers. These artists helped to advise on over 36,000 data-points, ensuring their suggestions were taken in at every step of development.

The design is ever-evolving with the first round resulting in a re-voiced capsule. Limited to 2,500 pieces worldwide, this unique microphone comes complete with a certificate, a letter of thanks from Aston CEO James Young, an exclusive badge and a custom sticker.
