The ARC-8050T3 6-Bay Thunderbolt 3 RAID Storage from Areca comes with six drive bays along with two Thunderbolt 3 ports to provide a Windows or Mac system with additional storage capacities for editing environments. The drive bays are compatible with user-supplied drives that feature 3.5"/2.5" 12Gb/s SAS/SSD or 6Gb/s SAS/SATA/SSD interfaces. The ARC-8050T3 is armed with a dual-core 1.2 GHz RAID-On-Chip and 2GB of DDR3 ECC memory to offer hardware RAID protection, which enables you to configure your drives in a RAID 0, 1, 1E, 3, 5, 6, 10, 30, 50, 60, single disk, or JBOD array. Each of the two Thunderbolt 3 ports delivers up to 40 Gb/s transfer speeds and supports up to six Thunderbolt-enabled devices on a daisy-chain. To further expand your system's storage capability, you can connect additional storage units to the ARC-8050T3's Thunderbolt 3 or SFF-8644 expansion ports. For cooling the internal components and your drives, one cooling fan is on board. There's also a 180W power supply for powering your drives and the ARC-8050T3.
